Very good independent book shop well worth a visit also have a small but good coffee shop and hold amazing events with authors and celebrities. Unusual to find in a small market town

This bookshop gives truly superb service. I don't buy books online choosing instead to support local businesses who unlike their electronic competition, have overheads! If we don't use our local high street we will lose shops like this one who invest in the community as opposed to the big corporations who don't. There is also a coffee shop which could be twice as big, it is so popular. For me it is the kind, courteous & very efficient personal service. Although I have been unable to attend any thus far, they have a series of book promotion events. In short this is a business which gives customers everything under one roof for books & refreshments that their online competitors cannot. If I want books I go there, now I have discovered this gem, I would urge everyone to do the same. If for any reason someone is unable to get to the shop I am sure you could give them a ring & they would help you as much as they have helped me. This is a genuine customer review & sincere compliments given.

Nice cafe attached to a bookshop. A well thought out idea. The bookshop also carries gifts and arranges nights were authors come to town.
