My wife went to the gynalogical ward today as a day patient. The consultancy and examination took place in a store room. With the size of this hospital, I am absolutely disgusted.
Well I cant rate on what the hospital is like because Ive never been. I live 200 miles away and was due to go see the veterans services for an on going knee was cancelled less than 14 hours before I was setting off with no reason why or apology form the Dr I was meant to see. For a veterans service they arent very accommodating or helpful. So left without help for a painful injury. Shame really because on reviews the hospital seems very good. Shame Ill never know what its like.
I have had several operations here and the treatment and after care has been exceptional.
I went for a scoliosis operation just over 2 years ago, the nurses on the ward could not have been nicer or more helpful! My surgeon was Mr Davidson and he was fantastic! I would recommend this hospital to anyone who is in need of a similar operation.
Very un organised and poor communication. Do not attend here if your matter is urgent as you will become disabled before you get urgent treatment by which time it will be too late
