Has a lot of potential for future development
When I was there, during advertised opening hours, there was no sign of anybody, the cafe was closed and so was the toilet. I was left to look at some static displays. Information on railway limited and not hugely informative
Enthusiastic volunteers and amazing cake!Great for an afternoon out with the kids. Really patient volunteers happy to chat railway's and answer questions from an inquisitive 4 year old! Museum free and interesting. Worth a visit!
Friendly, volunteer run railway. The journey is short but it is reasonably priced.
It's a small length of track here, but that's reflected in the price. The volunteers are welcoming and friendly and there's a great atmosphere. You can get a lot closer to the trains and operators here than other larger steam railways.Food is also worth a recommendation.
