Efficient and friendly staff, good range of products and lots of yellow labels today!!!
Staff who helped me were excellent. M & S 12 meal deal had items not available in the main deal item section which limited buying choice. Also, the whole chicken shelves were quite clearly affected by leaking moisture from the chickens but not cleaned up, this has happened before & I would respectfully suggest the manager of the store visits the shop floor a bit more to ensure food hygienically presented. They had a wine deal on, but every 'special' price section was empty with expensive wines either side. In essence M & S advertise meal deals & wine promotions & when customers get to the Oswestry store their advertising has been a waste of time because they don't have the stock & therefore customers are misled. Perhaps that is why other M & S outlets are closing because the store managers promise a great deal & leave some shelves empty & not regularly cleaned from residues. Busy on run up to Christmas, but even though we went late afternoon, stock was still pretty good. No Turkeys, but to be expected. Still good selection of the other essentials. Ended with their topside roast, and to be honest, was delicious.
