The best spa we've even been to! Had the detox and it's really helped my back, very thorough session, relaxing polite staff and good advice. The facilities are clean, only slight problem was the thermal pool was a bit cold this time but it's usually perfect. Food was good to and accommodated for my allergies and vegans. Highly recommend.
Third time back here. Excellent service from all staff. Slightly smaller room this time, but still more than adequate. Very comfortable. Food is delicious, if a little expensive. Partaking in spa activities later.
Wow, what a lovely place! Quite big compared to other Spas I've been too in the past but didn't feel overcrowded. The massive jacuzzi is amazing. Great full size swimming pool too. I had a massage which was as good as any I've had before and the dry floatation bed was something I've never tried before but I definitely would do again. Very relaxing. Staff are helpful and polite and take the time to inform you where everything is at the start of the day. Also the food was delicious, having a buffet is a much better idea than a set meal. I will be booking another Spa day soon!
Ovely hotel. Great setting. Nicely lit up at night. Great pool. Very relaxing. Got a bit tired of having to ask for tea and coffee supplies after the room cleaner kept forgetting to replenish. Bar is very pricey 5 a pint.
Spa facilities excellent, great food. There are two members in our party who are gluten free. This was taken care of well, often the gluten free option looked nicer than what I was eating, which is far from the norm. At the bar, there was a large array of spirits to choose from including many gins. The staff were very friendly, welcoming and helpful during our stay over the Christmas period. Waterside restaurant and bar was relaxed and pleasnt to sit in. However, the rooms were nothing special, but did the job. Some areas of the hotel, especially the room corridors would benefit from renovation however this didn't affect our stay. If the view out your window is a concern, book a room with canal view. Location was accessible as on the A5 however no noise was noticeable as the rooms were set back next to the canal behind the leisure facilities.
