What a fantastic place to visit with just a donation to enter 'absolute bargain' so it is literally cheap as chips to take the family to such an amazing place for a day out! I honestly couldn't fault the British Ironwork Centre, we had a fantastic day and there was lots to look at. It was great for the smaller children too as the outside area allowed our mini dude to have a good walk / run around. The only downside when we visited was that the childrens park area proved to be a touch overgrown so we couldn't use it but hopefully the owners will have rectified that by our next visit. Loved the place folks, if you haven't been it is well worth a visit!

This place is a con. Formally Black country metal works. It's about as British as Ghandi. Everything is imported from India & China. Pound donation? The guy's laughing at you. Don't be fooled.Carmen Delavuta in reply; You got one thing right, imaginative, everything is staged, like the blacksmith workshop etc and your one time review ! Photo's on file were they? By British artists are they? Least have the decency to change the name... The Foreign Fraud Iron Centre, sounds more appropriate.

Not sure which place Ian Butler(above) visited but it wasn't the same place as us. This place is imaginitive and fabulous. In the area, got an hour or two-you should go!

We came here to see the Knife Angel sculpture - and this is amazing - but we also enjoyed seeing all the animal sculptures on a sort of metal safari. There is a quirky gift shop and a caf too. It was popular with families and is an affordable trip as just donations are required. There is plenty of parking.

A fantastic and busy and interesting place. It is free to get in but they do ask for a 1 donation per adult which is cheap to get in anywhere these days. Lots to see and do with singing acts there while you eat and a superb restaurant. Go and look you won't be disappointed.
